'05 D-60 on leafs

Ok so i bought me a Front D-60 for the yj,has anyone done a leaf spring install with one of these diff's?aside from taking off all un-nessesary brackets ,is there anything else to prep diff for leafs?I know i will need to outboard springs on frame.Thanks in advance!! Oh,im doing the 10.5 sterlin in rear...easy peasy!!

I've not done the exact setup using the parts described but have done others similar and the thing that comes to mind for consideration are both caster and pinion angles.

If you plan to run this on the street you might try to balance a happy medium for both angles while keeping in mind that dropping the pinion angle will increase caster and drive line angle. You also need to consider how much droop will be involved which can put a strain on or bind the u-joints. If there is too much drive line angle a limiting strap may be in order.

If strictly off-road you can worry less about caster and focus more on pointing the pinion toward the t-case, thus making more negative caster resulting in easier wheel turns which helps in the rocks when locked. A trade-off being the wheel is less likely to return to center on its own.

Knowing the factory caster angle spec for that axle with respect to the vehicle it came from would be a good starting point IMO.
