Guess who's back????
« on: August 24, 2014, 08:52:03 pm »
After selling the buggy a few years ago I have really missed wheelin. So after many months of searching I made a deal last week for my next rig. I left Friday after work and made a 1200 mile 24 hour road trip to pick it up.

Specs:

5.0L HO V8 MSD Ignition, BeCool Radiator, Elec fan
TCI Outlaw C6 Trans
Atlas 4 Speed T-Case
PSC Full Hyro steering
Dana 60, 5.38's, ARB locker, Alloy Shafts, Poly Slugs
Dana 70, 5.38's, ARB locker, HD Shafts
42" Iroks on 17" TrailReady Beadlocks
16" ORI Struts
Linked front & rear
ARB Diff Covers
10 Gal fuel cell
Corbeau Baja RS Seats
AutoMeter gauges
Optima Red Top
Warn 9.0 Winch, Synthetic rope
Summit Heater
8 Speaker + Sub stereo system (somewhat of an overkill IMO)

Thanks guys, I can't wait to get it on the trail and get a feel for it. I have my usual lake plans for Labor Day so I will more than likely be going to Bridgeport on Saturday 9/06 if anyone in interested.

Few new things in the last few weeks:

All fluids & filters changed
New Optima Red Top (the other one was 6 years old but still working)
Plugs
Rock lights (oznium)
Removable Lexan windshield (for the wife)

Should have some updated pics from the trip to Superlift.

Did you get the fuel pump issue worked out?

Oh, I forgot about that. I did go with a new walbro fuel pump 255 and mounted it with a custom bracket I found on Pirate, night and day difference.

Awesome looking rig. I like the meaty tires, makes it look more aggressive. I got Warn winch on my ride too. Are there other new mods you've done?
